30 Days Free Returns for eligible Black Diamond® orders.

Black Diamond® wants your return experience to be clear and simple. This policy explains the 30-day return window, eligible item condition, return instructions, refund timing, exchanges, damaged or wrong items, and how to contact customer support before sending anything back.

30 Days Free Returns

Black Diamond® offers 30 Days Free Returns on eligible items. To begin a return, customers must contact customer service first to receive the correct return instructions and return details.

Returns sent without contacting customer service first may not be accepted.

30-Day Return Window

Eligible items may be returned within 30 days of delivery. Return requests made after the 30-day return window may not be accepted.

Please contact Black Diamond® customer support as soon as possible if you need help with a return, exchange, damaged item, wrong item, or order issue.

Return Eligibility

To qualify for 30 Days Free Returns, items must meet the return eligibility requirements below.

  • The return request must be made within 30 days of delivery.
  • The item must be unused, unworn, unwashed, and in original condition.
  • The item must include original tags, packaging, labels, accessories, manuals, and any included components when applicable.
  • The item must not show signs of wear, damage, odor, alteration, installation, or use beyond normal inspection.
  • The customer must contact customer service first and follow the return instructions provided.

Item Condition

Returned items are inspected after they are received. Items that do not meet the required condition may be rejected, returned to the customer, or refunded only in part depending on the issue.

Please pack returned items carefully to help prevent damage during transit. Keep any proof of return shipment until your return has been received and processed.

Non-Returnable Items

Some items may not be eligible for return. Non-returnable items may include:

  • Items that have been used, worn, washed, altered, damaged, or are missing original packaging or tags.
  • Items returned after the 30-day return window.
  • Items sent back without first contacting customer service for return instructions.
  • Gift cards, digital products, or downloadable products, if offered.
  • Personalized, customized, or special-order items, if offered.
  • Items marked final sale or non-returnable, if applicable.

How to Start a Return

Please include the following information in your return request:

  • Your full name and email address used at checkout.
  • Your order number.
  • The item name, size, color, and quantity you want to return.
  • The reason for the return.
  • Photos if the item arrived damaged, defective, incorrect, or incomplete.

Return Instructions

After your request is reviewed, Black Diamond® customer support will provide the appropriate return instructions and return details. Do not send your item to any address before receiving instructions from customer support.

Returns sent without contacting customer service first may not be accepted. Black Diamond® does not display a fixed return address because return details may depend on the order, item, and return request.

Return Shipping Cost

Black Diamond® offers 30 Days Free Returns for eligible items when the return is started through customer service and completed according to the instructions provided.

If a return is shipped without approval, sent to the wrong location, or returned outside the provided instructions, it may not qualify for free return processing and may not be accepted.

Refund Process

Once the returned item is received and inspected, approved refunds are processed within 3–15 days. Refunds are issued to the original payment method when possible.

Depending on your payment provider, it may take additional time for the refund to appear on your account after Black Diamond® has processed it.

Exchanges

If you need a different size, color, or item, contact Black Diamond® customer support at [email protected]. Our team will review your request and provide the next steps based on item availability and return eligibility.

Exchange requests must be started within the 30-day return window and must meet the same item-condition requirements as returns.

Damaged, Wrong, or Missing Items

Damaged Items

If your item arrives damaged, contact customer support as soon as possible. Include your order number, a description of the issue, and clear photos of the product and packaging.

Wrong Item

If you received the wrong item, size, color, or quantity, please email us with your order number and photos of what you received so we can review the issue.

Missing Item

If an item is missing from your order, keep all packaging and contact Black Diamond® with your order number and the missing item name.

Inspection Review

Damaged, wrong, or missing item claims may require photos, packaging details, and order information so customer support can review the request accurately.

Final Sale Items

Items marked final sale or non-returnable, if applicable, are not eligible for standard returns or exchanges unless the item arrived damaged, defective, incorrect, or unless otherwise required by applicable law.
